Quantity Surveyor - Civils We are delighted to be partnering with our client, a very well established business-winning civil engineering firm based in Nottingham, on recruiting it''s newest hire into the Commercial team - an experienced Quantity Surveyor. Day to day you will: Prepare and submit monthly valuations Identify, price and agree variations Manage subcontractor accounts and payments Monitor project costs, forecasts and profitability Produce monthly cost-value reconciliations Review drawings, specifications and contract information Support procurement of subcontractors and materials Attend client and internal commercial meetings Manage contractual notices, contra-charges and commercial correspondence Work closely with site teams to ensure all completed work is properly recorded and recovered Agree final accounts with clients and subcontractors To be successful in this role, you will need: Previous Quantity Surveying experience within groundworks, civil engineering or residential construction Good knowledge of roads, sewers and housing plot works Strong Excel, measurement and commercial reporting skills ..... full job details .....
