Warehouse Operative/Forklift driver

Temporary to Permanent
Pay - -14.83 per hour
8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday

Our client, a prominent player in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver (Counterbalance) to join their team on a contract basis. This dynamic role involves both warehouse and forklift responsibilities, making it a diverse and engaging opportunity for the right candidate.

• Operating a counterbalance forklift to manage, move, and store goods in the warehouse
• Loading and unloading deliveries efficiently and safely
• Maintaining the organisation of the warehouse/stores area
• Performing regular inventory checks and stock takes
• Ensuring all operations comply with health and safety guidelines
• Utilising computer systems to log and track inventory
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations

• Proven experience in warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment
• Valid counterbalance forklift license
• Computer literacy and ability to use inventory management systems
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Commitment to maintaining high safety standards
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Contract position
• Working hours: 8am to 4pm with a 30-minute lunch break
• Rolling contract offering stability and continuity
