Chief Engineer - ECandI (Technical Authority) - C.£70,000 + car allowance - Sheffield (Hybrid) The Opportunity Our client is continuing to grow through an expanding portfolio of complex, bespoke engineering projects delivered across a range of highly regulated and technically demanding sectors.To support this growth, they are looking to appoint a Chief ECandI Engineer to act as the technical authority for all Electrical, Control and Instrumentation activities across the business.This is a rare opportunity for an experienced engineering leader who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and wants to remain close to engineering rather than moving into purely operational management. You will provide technical leadership across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring engineering excellence from concept through to commissioning and customer handover.The role offers exposure to a diverse project portfolio spanning Defence, Nuclear, Infrastructure, Energy and advanced engineering applications, ensuring no two projects are ever the same.
