Food Technology Technician - Secondary School
Location: Rochdale
Pay: -110130 per day
Hours: 8:30am - 3:00pm
Contract:Full-time, contract, term time only

We are currently seeking an experienced Food Technology Technician to join a welcoming secondary school in Rochdale. This is a full-time contract role supporting the Food Technology department, ensuring practical lessons run smoothly and safely.

• Preparing ingredients, equipment and materials for Food Technology lessons

• Supporting teachers during practical sessions where required

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen/classroom environment

• Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies

• Ensuring all food hygiene and health & safety procedures are followed

• Cleaning and maintaining equipment after lessons

• Previous experience working as a Food Technology Technician in a school

• Strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety procedures

• Organised, reliable and able to work efficiently in a busy environment

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

• Two professional references
