Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Job Overview:

We are looking for an Experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join a well-established warehouse operation in Avonmouth. In this hands-on role, you will oversee daily operations, manage a team, and ensure the safe, accurate handling of goods while maintaining high standards of health, safety, and security.

Role Details & Benefits:

• Location: Avonmouth
• Full-time, Permanent position
• Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (40 hours per week)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff to ensure smooth daily operations
• Oversee the receipt, storage, retrieval, and dispatch of goods in line with operational procedures
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely system updates
• Monitor, implement, and enforce health and safety standards
• Conduct regular audits to maintain compliance with security, confidentiality, and data protection policies
• Train and develop team members to achieve performance targets
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure customer service standards are met
• Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency

The Right Candidate:

• Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or comparable leadership role
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams effectively
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
• Competent in management systems and Microsoft Office
• High attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality and data protection
• Hold Forklift licence or willingness to train
