Behaviour Mentor A Rewarding Opportunity to Support Young PeopleWe''re looking for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to support children and young people across Wiltshire through personalised 1:1 mentoring.Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you''ll support learners who may be struggling to engage with education due to behavioural, social, emotional, or additional needs. Your role will be to build positive relationships, encourage engagement, develop confidence, and help young people overcome barriers that may be impacting their education and wellbeing.This is an ideal opportunity for individuals who are confident, resilient, and passionate about helping vulnerable young people achieve positive outcomes.Location: WiltshireStart Date: SeptemberHours: FlexiblePay Rate: 25- 30 per hourType: 1:1 Mentoring RequirementsMinimum 6 months'' experience in an educational setting, including mentoring, teaching, tutoring, learning support, teaching assistant, youth work, or similar rolesExperience supporting children and young people with behavioural needs is desirableAbility to build rapport and maintain professional boundariesStrong communication and de-escalation skillsPatient, adaptable, and resilient approachConfidence working independently in a 1:1 environmentEnhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain oneDriver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel locally within Wiltshire Who You''ll SupportYou''ll work with children and young people who may ..... full job details .....
