Key responsibilities include: Welding carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium structures using a variety of welding processes:Manual Metal Arc (MMA)MIG WeldingAutomatic and Semi-Automatic Welding (Submerged Arc and KAT)Resistance Welding (Stud Welding)Working from welding procedures, manufacturing instructions and technical drawings Producing high-quality, right-first-time work that contributes to successful ship construction Using air and electric power tools safely and effectively Collaborating with supervisors, apprentices and other trades to overcome production challenges Essential Requirements ? Proven FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding) experience - essential ? Ability to weld in multiple positions using a variety of consumables ? Valid welding qualifications and trade papers ?
