What you''ll be doing;

• Perform and document mechanical maintenance on Conveyors, Pumps, Valves,
  
• Compressors, hydraulic and any Mechanical equipment found on a Biomass Power
  
• station.
  
• Excellent problem solving and solution resolution, able to demonstrate a working
  
• knowledge of problem solving and root cause analysis using appropriate tools and
  
• techniques.
  
• Inspect, repair and maintain all types of mechanical systems.
  
• Maintain files, logs and drawings for all mechanical systems using the Computerised
  
• Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  
• To propose and develop modifications and improvements to plant / apparatus as
  
• appropriate
  
• Liaise with contractors carrying out mechanical tasks / projects to ensure compliance
  
• with company procedures
  
• Control of mechanical spares and consumables on site
  

What we''re looking for;

• Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship
  
• Qualified to at least HNC or equivalent in Engineering is desirable
  
• Detailed knowledge of all aspects of maintenance techniques associated with mechanical systems
  
• Understand and interpret mechanical drawings
  
• Ability to work on your own or as part of a team effectively and efficiently
