We''re on the lookout for a Fabricator to join our expanding client based in Loughborough on a full time, permanent basis.Salary: 15 - 16 per hour (depending on experience).Hours: 07:00 - 15:30 Monday - Thursday and 06:00 - 14:30 on Friday. The Role: As a Welder / Fabricator, you will have strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of sheet metal work. This role requires fabricating, welding and various metal components with use of hand and power tools.Key Responsibilities:Fabricate metal components according to specifications and drawings.Assemble parts and structures using various welding techniques.Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards.Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.Collaborate with team members to improve fabrication processes and efficiency.Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Essential Requirements:Proven experience in metal fabrication.Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings.Competence in using various hand tools and power tools effectively.Experience with a variety of welding processes.
