Building Surveyor Up to £60,000 + Car Allowance Head Office - Leighton Buzzard Office Based (1-2 days out on site) Permanent DCS Recruitment are currently partnering with a specialist consultancy within the building pathology sector to recruit a Building Surveyor. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with a background in building surveying, structural investigations or defect analysis to take ownership of projects and work closely with clients across a diverse portfolio. This is a varied position combining building surveying, building pathology investigations, project management and client-facing responsibilities. You will manage projects from initial instruction through to completion, investigating building defects, assessing deterioration and helping develop practical remediation solutions while ensuring a high standard of delivery. Key Responsibilities: Carry out condition surveys, including intrusive and non-destructive investigations. Lead and deliver building pathology projects. Undertake concrete assessments, including composition, deterioration and corrosion. Investigate water ingress and develop remediation plans. Carry out non-destructive testing, including GPR, ultrasonic pulse echo and related techniques. Conduct building investigations to support re-purposing and design input.
