We are seeking a dedicated Room Leader to join a vibrant local nursery team on a full-time, permanent basis. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire room staff to deliver exceptional Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) care. Room Management: Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, manage daily routines, and oversee learning environments. Child Development: Act as a Key Person, monitoring progress, conducting assessments, and maintaining accurate learning journals. Parent Communication: Maintain open, professional relationships with parents and carers regarding child updates. Compliance and Safety: Ensure strict adherence to safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory guidelines. Candidate Requirements Qualifications: CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (required). Experience: Proven experience working in a UK nursery setting, ideally in a senior or supervisory role. Knowledge: Deep understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding standards.
