Senior Residential Care Worker Location: UxbridgeSalary: up to 32,000 depending on experienceFull-time, permanent We are recruiting an experienced Senior Residential Care Worker to join an Ofsted-registered residential home supporting seven non-verbal children and young people. The home currently supports a mixed household of four girls and three boys, with two young people requiring 2:1 support. Key responsibilities Provide high-quality, person-centred care that promotes the health, welfare and development of young people. Lead shifts and take responsibility for the operation of the home when required. Act as keyworker for individual young people: contribute to care plans, reviews and transitions. Supervise, support and develop junior staff, including carrying out formal supervisions. Manage day-to-day household routines (cooking, shopping, appointments, activities) and support education participation. Apply approved de-escalation and behaviour-management strategies, record and report incidents appropriately. Maintain compliance with Ofsted standards, safeguarding procedures, and company policies. Contribute to a positive, inclusive culture that respects young people''s social, emotional and cultural needs. Working pattern Rolling rota: 2 day on and 2 days off The rota includes sleep-ins, which are shared across the team.
