CNC Miller Location: SheffieldPay Rate: £16.00 £20.00 per hour DOEHours: To be confirmedJob Type: Permanent opportunityWinner Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join an established engineering and manufacturing business based in Sheffield.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist with experience in precision CNC milling, producing high-quality components to engineering specifications.Key Responsibilities: Set, operate and adjust CNC milling machines. Machine components in accordance with engineering drawings and technical specifications. Select appropriate cutting tools, tooling and machining parameters. Interpret engineering drawings, tolerances and GDandT requirements. Carry out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks. Monitor machining cycles and make adjustments where necessary. Maintain high standards of accuracy, quality and housekeeping. Essential Requirements: Proven experience in CNC milling. Competent in setting and operating CNC milling machinery. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Understanding of machining tolerances and surface finishes. Knowledge of CNC controls such as Fanuc, Siemens or Heidenhain. Experience working within a precision engineering environment.
