CIVIL SITE MANAGER / SUPERVISOR In Teesside Barnard Castle DurhamWe are currently looking to recruit an experienced Civil Site Manager / Foreman to join a project starting 16th November 2026.We are looking for candidates with a strong heavy civil engineering background, particularly those with experience in reinforced concrete works.Key Responsibilities:Day-to-day management of site activities, operatives and subcontractors.Supervising reinforced concrete and heavy civil engineering works.Coordinating steel fixing and shuttering/joinery activities.Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times.Monitoring progress against the project programme.Ensuring RAMS and site paperwork are kept up to date.Coordinating labour, materials and plant.Liaising with clients, contractors and the wider project team.Reporting progress and any issues to the Contracts Manager.Requirements:Valid SMSTS qualification.First Aid certificate.Previous experience as a Civil Site Manager or Foreman.Strong knowledge of heavy civil engineering and reinforced concrete works.Experience dealing with steel fixers and shuttering joiners.Good understanding of site management, health and safety and construction processes.Ability to manage site teams and drive programme delivery.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Civil Site Manager / Foreman to join an established project.Interested?Please call Libby on (phone number ..... full job details .....
