Our client, a high-performance engineering company, is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to take ownership of its buildings and day-to-day site operations. You will ensure the facilities provide a safe, efficient and pleasant environment for employees and visitors, combining hands-on involvement with responsibility for maintenance planning, contractors and compliance. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for: Managing the maintenance and upkeep of all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and structural components. Planning and overseeing routine inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs across all sites. Managing contractors and service providers for specialist maintenance and renovation projects. Leading the response to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimise disruption. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and maintaining accurate records and reports. Overseeing facilities supplies, budgets and the setup of events and company spaces. Supervising facilities staff and supporting the movement of equipment between sites, including driving company vehicles when required. The Facilities Manager will have: Proven experience in a facilities management or senior facilities role. Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical and plumbing.
