Contracts Manager (Water)
Our client, a leading name in the civil engineering and infrastructure sector, is seeking a dedicated Contracts Manager to join their team within the water sector on a permanent basis. Key Responsibilities:Programme planning to ensure timely project deliveryProcurement and reconciliation of materials in accordance with company proceduresEnsure site team compliance with commercial policies and proceduresAttend tender handover and pre-start meetingsMonitor and manage commercial plans and forecastsProduce and analyse progress reports, updated costs, and forecastsImplement risk management processes and review risk registersReview CVRs and implement necessary actions with project teamsManage weekly progress, budget resources, and planning reviewsChair and attend internal and external meetings, maintaining accurate recordsManage temporary and permanent designs to meet project requirementsPromote HSandE procedures and ensure compliance with legal obligationsConduct senior manager site inspections and produce audits and reportsLiaise with third parties for regulatory compliancePromote best practices in quality management Job Requirements:Extensive experience in managing projects within the civil/water environmentKnowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, and cost controlExperience with MS Projects (P6 an advantage)Understanding of NEC contractsSMSTS and CSCS cardExperience with Pre-Qualification and Tendering processesExcellent people management and mentoring skillsNEBOSH Con
