Project Quantity Surveyor
An opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing Special Projects Division based out of Chesterfield, delivering projects across the Midlands and wider regions.

Its Special Projects Division focuses on delivering schemes typically valued between -10m and -30m, combining new build construction with complex fit-out and refurbishment works. Many projects are delivered within live environments, requiring careful planning and coordination.

The Opportunity
You will support the commercial delivery of projects valued between -10m - -30m across:
- Distribution centre developments
- MOD schemes
- Education sector projects
Projects are a mix of new build construction and fit-out, providing a varied and technically engaging workload.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account
- Support subcontract procurement, administration, and valuations
- Contribute to cost reporting, CVRs, and forecasting
- Assist in managing variations, change control, and final accounts
- Work closely with site and project teams to support successful delivery
- Build relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
- Support senior commercial staff in delivering project targets
About You
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment
- Experience working on projects in the -5m+ to -10m+ range (or exposure to larger schemes)
- Background in sectors such as industrial, commercial, or public sector projects is beneficial
- Strong numerical and commercial awareness
- Eagerness to develop and progress within a supportive team
- Good communication and organisational skills
Salary & Package
- -60,000 - -65,000 basic salary
- Car allowance
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- 4% employer pension contribution
