Framestore is seeking a

Compositor - Mid to Senior Level

for an initial 3-month contract starting in September 2025. This role is UK-based with PAYE employment only; visas are not offered.Framestore brings together world-class producers, artists, and technologists to craft visually striking work across advertising, episodic, and immersive productions. Our teams blend creative ingenuity with cutting-edge technology to deliver high-end visual effects, immersive storytelling, and premium content for global clients, brands, and broadcasters.About the role: the ideal candidate will have extensive technical and creative knowledge of compositing in Nuke and a proven ability to work in a demanding production environment. We value proactive problem-solvers who enjoy collaborating, sharing knowledge, and contributing to the team while creating exceptional work.Responsibilities

Compositing on challenging and exciting projects, including full CG shows, integrating 2D, 3D and live-action elements to high-end visual effects.Manage your time effectively, working with Supervisors and Producers to meet show deadlines.Balance the creative and technical aspects of each shot.Maintain a good working knowledge of colour space principles.Take responsibility for your workload, time management, and notes/feedback actions required by Supervisors.Contribute to Nuke training; share knowledge across the team and learn collaboratively.Demonstrate excellent working knowledge of and production experience with Nuke.Exhibit a strong eye for detail, composition, colour, and lighting.Provide superior service to clients from both technical and creative perspectives.Remain highly organized and capable of juggling several tasks efficiently.Show strong interpersonal and communication skills.Accessibility and Application
