A London main contractor is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial ownership of projects across the capital. This Senior Quantity Surveyor role is permanent and office based, covering the full commercial cycle from tender to final account. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will have input into how packages are procured and managed, and will report directly to senior management. The Senior Quantity Surveyor role Taking full commercial responsibility for your projects from tender to final account Leading subcontract procurement, negotiation and package management Owning monthly cost value reconciliation and reporting to senior management Managing change, compensation events and claims Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff Contract administration under NEC and JCT, including notices and early warnings What the Senior Quantity Surveyor will need Proven track record as a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor Strong command of NEC and JCT, particularly change control and notice provisions A civil engineering background or experience on groundworks packages is desirable Experience running projects independently and reporting on commercial performance Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management, or equivalent experience Right to work in the UK To apply for this Senior Quantity Surveyor position, send your CV or get in touch for a confidential conversation. ..... full job details .....
