Job Role: Network Engineer Location: Redhill (Hybrid working after probation) Salary: £45,000 £50,000 plus benefits If you re a Network Engineer who enjoys working on business-critical networks rather than just small office setups, this role could be for you. I m working with a well-established technology organisation that supports secure, complex network environments. They re continuing to invest in their network function and are adding an engineer who can take genuine ownership of live infrastructure and be trusted to do things properly. This is a hands-on role where the network really matters. You won t just be following runbooks or passing tickets around. You ll be involved in supporting, maintaining and improving routed and switched networks, working closely with firewalls, VPNs and secure connectivity, and troubleshooting issues that actually require thought rather than guesswork. Day to day, you ll be supporting production networks, dealing with incidents end to end, and acting as an escalation point when things get more complex. Alongside the reactive work, there s also involvement in network changes, improvements and occasional build or commissioning activity, so it s not just firefighting.
