We are recruiting for an experienced Repairs Surveyor managing a dedicated housing patch across Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a surveyor with experience in responsive repairs, damp and mould investigations, and property defect diagnosis who is passionate about improving residents'' homes and delivering high-quality repairs. Working within a busy social housing environment, you will be responsible for inspecting properties, diagnosing building defects, identifying the root causes of damp and mould, specifying remedial works, and managing repairs through to successful completion. As a Repairs Surveyor, you will take ownership of a designated geographical patch, ensuring responsive repairs are delivered efficiently, safely and to a high standard. You will work closely with residents, contractors and internal teams to ensure repairs are completed within agreed timescales while delivering an excellent customer experience. Key Responsibilities Undertake property inspections for responsive repairs across your designated housing patch. Diagnose building defects and identify the most appropriate repair solutions. Investigate reports of damp, mould and condensation, determining the root cause and specifying effective remedial works. Differentiate between structural defects, water ingress, condensation and ventilation-related issues. Produce detailed specifications and schedules of work for contractors.
