Job Title: Indirect Director of Tax Maternity CoverLocation: LondonContract Type: 9-10 Month FTCJob Description:A globally recognised and prestigious Group have engaged Chilworth Partnership exclusively, to support them in the recruitment of an Indirect Director of Tax for 9-10 months, covering a period of Maternity Leave. The fundamental objective of the post is to offer expert VAT advisory services across the business, enabled by advanced technical knowledge and strong business partnering skills.Key Responsibilities: Lead the Group on all aspects of indirect tax. Coordinate and review the preparation of all material UK VAT returns including a large UK VAT group. Support UK Shared Service Centre VAT compliance team (UK) on technical VAT advisory and controversy matters (UK and international) as well as advise on best practice in relation to governance and indirect tax compliance processes. Work closely with Finance, Legal and Commercial teams to provide timely and informed responses to indirect tax questions in the business (UK and international) and on a wide range of topics (goods, services, intercompany transactions, etc.). Support broader Tax team on indirect tax awareness and collaborating with the Tax team to deliver cross-tax advice to the business. Assist with global MandA activity, where required. Qualifications and Experience: A proven VAT expert with experience in large, multinational businesses. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Availab
