As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for running a designated section of the kitchen with precision and creativity. You''ll support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering consistently high-quality dishes and help maintain smooth kitchen operations during service.Key Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section to the highest standard

Ensure that all food production is in line with company standards and health and safety regulations

Take ownership of your section, ensuring readiness for service and stock levels are maintained

Collaborate with other sections to ensure timely and smooth service

Assist with training and mentoring junior kitchen staff and commis chefs

Help create daily specials and contribute ideas for menu development

Maintain cleanliness and organization in your section at all times

Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins

Requirements

Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role in a busy pub or restaurant setting

Strong understanding of modern British cuisine and seasonal produce

Passion for food quality, presentation, and consistency

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team

Food hygiene and safety certification (Level 2 or above)

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
