Building Safety OfficerNorth London (N17) 29- 33 per hour DOE Full Time On going contractMMP Consultancy is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Building Safety Officer to support the delivery of building safety compliance across its portfolio of higher-risk residential buildings. Working alongside the Building Safety Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with the Building Safety Act, maintaining the "Golden Thread" of information, and helping to keep residents safe.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the development and maintenance of Building Safety Cases for higher-risk residential buildings. Manage and maintain digital compliance records, ensuring the Golden Thread principle is upheld.Liaise with the Building Safety Regulator, Fire Service, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders. Coordinate inspections, remediation works, compliance activities, and contractor performance monitoring.Support resident engagement initiatives and communicate building safety information effectively to residents. Monitor statutory compliance across fire safety, gas, electrical, asbestos, and related building safety disciplines. Assist with budget monitoring, KPI reporting, and compliance performance management. Participate in an out-of-hours emergency response rota for building safety incidents.
