Role: Primavera Planner - Heavy Civils and Rail Location: 2 days in Leeds 2 days on-site in Sheffield 1 day WFH Rate: £400-£450 per day (LTD) Contract Type: Long-term Contract We''re looking for a Primavera Planner to join our team and support a portfolio of complex infrastructure works across Yorkshire. This is a long-term contract role offering stability, flexibility, and the chance to shape the programme on some of the region''s most vital schemes. The Role: Working closely with project managers, engineers, and commercial teams, you''ll play a key role in building and maintaining robust project programmes using Primavera P6. Your construction-savvy insight will ensure that plans are not only technically sound, but practical and achievable on site. Your key responsibilities will include: Developing and maintaining detailed programmes in Primavera P6Liaising with delivery teams to ensure accurate planning and forecastingIdentifying critical paths, milestones, risks, and slippagesIntegrating subcontractor and supplier schedules into master programmesProducing lookaheads, progress reports, and earned value metricsSupporting project change management and delay analysis where needed What We''re Looking For: Proven experience as a Planner using Primavera P6, ideally in rail and/or heavy civilsStrong understanding of construction methodologies and site operationsAbility to engage confidently with delivery teams, designers, and clientsBackground in construction or civil engineering
