Solicitor - PropertyLocation: OldhamJob Type: Full-time, TempHourly Rate: £30.81We are seeking a qualified Solicitor specializing in Property Law to join our Commercial Services team. This role involves providing comprehensive legal advice and services on land and property matters, ensuring lawful decision-making in accordance with the Council''s governance frameworks, and supporting the Council''s objectives through expert legal support.Day-to-Day of the Role:Deliver legal advice and services in land and property law, including trusts, company law, and charity law within property contexts.Handle land and property transactions from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with the Council''s Constitution and governance arrangements.Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, leases, and licenses, and prepare reports and presentations for Council officers and members.Conduct legal research and provide specialist advice on complex legal matters without supervision.Liaise with internal teams, external legal advisers, and government departments to coordinate legal services effectively.Update and maintain legal precedents and documentation to ensure compliance with statutory duties.Support and train Council officers on property-related legal matters to enhance their understanding and ensure informed decision-making.Required Skills and Qualifications:Qualified solicitor or barrister with a minimum of one year post-qualification experience in land/property law or commerc
