Bookings OfficerBurgess Hill, Permanent, 15 p/h, Part time, 5 hours per week over 7 days, flexible working hours, hybrid role. The Role We are delighted to be supporting a busy, local community centre in their search for a Bookings Officer to oversee the entire bookings process for the hall and meeting rooms. This is an administrative position that will see you liaising with multiple parties, handling all bookings correspondence and having an onsite presence to promote the venue.Answer phone messages, emails, website enquiries and social media messages relating to bookings enquiriesIssue bookings forms, and terms and conditions for hiring the facilityEnsure diaries are kept up to date, ensuring the treasurer and caretaker both have up to date copies and relevant details are highlighted that need their attentionIssue reports for the Executive committeePromote the business to regular hirers regarding ongoing bookingsMeet prospective customers at the venue to provide tours and options availableEnsure key holders details are kept up to dateIssue invoicesHandle social media posts and promote upcoming events RequirementsThis role requires someone that lives locally in Burgess Hill and is highly reliable. Due to the flexible nature of this role, you will need to be very responsible; entrusted with keeping on top of all enquiries and bookings procedures, for at least an hour, every 1-2 days.
