Fire Safety Advisor - Band 7Location: NHS Trust in EssexContract Type: PermanentSalary: £50,000 - £57,000 per annumWe are supporting an NHS Trust in Essex with the recruitment of an experienced Fire Safety Advisor (Band 7) to join their Estates and Facilities Directorate. The successful candidate will deliver expert fire safety management, provide professional guidance across the organisation, and support the ongoing development of a robust, compliant fire safety culture Trust-wide.As Fire Safety Advisor, you will play a central role in ensuring the safety of patients, staff and visitors through effective fire risk assessment, training, investigation, policy development and compliance oversight. Working closely with the Fire Safety Manager, you will help maintain a safe, resilient estate aligned with statutory requirements and NHS fire safety standards.Key responsibilities:Fire Risk Assessment and ComplianceConduct and review complex fire risk assessments in line with the Trust''s risk-based audit programme.Prepare comprehensive reports, action plans and recommendations to drive safety improvements.Ensure full compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order2005, HTMs, and national best practice.Monitor completion of fire safety actions and ensure close-out of identified deficiencies.Support the development and implementation of Trust-wide fire policies, safety arrangements and procedural documents.Training, Education and CultureContribute to the Fire Safety Training
