With 200 indoor covers and a further 230 outside, this is a big, busy, food-led site that will be a true community hub. Expect a fresh, seasonal menu, classic pub favourites with a premium twist, and a kitchen team to develop and lead.

As Sous Chef, you will:Take ownership of the kitchen operation in the absence of the Head Chef, from prep to passLead, inspire, and develop your team to deliver consistent, top-quality foodDevelop a positive kitchen culture with strong training, support and communicationDrive and maintain high standards in food safety, cleanliness and complianceWork closely with the General Manager and Operations Chef to hit targets and maximise kitchen performanceHave input into menu development and specials, showcasing fresh, seasonal ingredientsManage stock, wastage and GP
and ensure everything runs like clockwork during service
Were looking for a Sous Chef who brings:Proven experience in high-volume, premium pub or casual dining kitchensEnergy and a can-do attitudeStrong leadership skills and a passion for team developmentA commitment to fresh, quality food and consistency under pressureA calm, professional approach
even in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of compliance, food safety, and kitchen best practicesAble to cook to spec and awareness of GPs and budgetsExperience managing labour costs and ensure staffing levels are appropriateA proactive, hands-on attitude and a desire to be part of something special from the ground up
