German speaking Export Sales Manager

• Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands (with occasional European travel)
• Salary: -32,000 - -50,000 + benefits (depending on experience)
• Languages: Fluent German and English

The Company

Our client is a well established and growing UK business with an expanding international customer base. Due to continued growth across Europe, they are seeking a German speaking Export Sales Manager to drive sales development and manage key customer relationships across the DACH region and wider European markets.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded German speaker with B2B sales experience who is looking to develop an international sales career.

As Export Sales Manager, you will take ownership of existing customer accounts while identifying and developing new business opportunities across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and other European territories. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to deliver exceptional service and achieve ambitious growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with existing international customers
• Identify, target and win new business opportunities across designated export markets
• Generate quotations, negotiate commercial proposals and process customer orders
• Handle customer enquiries and provide a high level of account management support
• Monitor sales performance, analyse market trends and develop strategies to increase revenue
• Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure excellent customer service
• Travel occasionally throughout Europe to meet customers and support business development activities

About You

• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken (essential)
• Previous B2B sales, account management or business development experience
• Highly motivated with strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Commercially aware with a proactive approach to winning new business
• Comfortable working with international customers and managing multiple accounts
• Degree educated preferred, but not essential
• Willing to undertake occasional European travel
