Thanks to a high volume of new commissions, they are looking for a Management Accountant with a background in TV/ Production to take responsibility for the budgeting, forecasting, management accounts as well as specific production finance tasks such as reporting, recoveries and spend etc. Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and supporting schedules. Maintain and update the monthly PandL, including relevant production and overhead adjustments. Review actual performance against budget and forecast, explaining material variances. Maintain accurate production actuals across active programmes and projects. Incorporate deliveries, reshoots, production fees and other project adjustments into monthly reporting. Monitor production overspends and expected recoveries. Work with production teams to ensure accounting records agree with current production forecasts. Maintain the company forecast and annual budget. Coordinate financial inputs from production, staffing and overhead owners.
