Senior MandE Estimator - Freelance North West Hybrid Working Competitive Day RateA leading Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Senior MandE Estimator to support the delivery of major construction projects across the North West on a freelance basis. Project values range from 50m - 250m so experience on these values is required. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business with a strong pipeline of high-value projects, offering a highly competitive day rate and flexible hybrid working arrangements.The RoleThe successful candidate will play a key role within the commercial and pre-construction team, taking responsibility for both MandE estimating activities and the management of NEC contract compensation events across major schemes.Key responsibilities will include:Preparing and managing detailed MandE cost plans and estimatesSupporting pre-construction and tendering activitiesOverseeing NEC compensation events and change management processesWorking closely with project delivery, commercial, and design teamsReviewing subcontractor pricing and assessing value engineering opportunitiesProviding commercial support across large-scale construction projectsEnsuring accurate reporting and cost control throughout project lifecyclesRequirementsProven experience as a Senior MandE Cost Planner / MandE Estimator within a Main Contractor environmentStrong background delivering major construction projectsExtensive knowledge of NEC contracts and compensation event
