SEND Teaching Assistant Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity for September? Do you have experience supporting children with Autism (ASC) in a primary school setting? If so, this could be the role for you! SANZA Teaching Agency is working with a two-form entry Church of England primary school in Harrow which is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join the team at the start of the new academic year in September. The Role Working with a Year 3 pupil with Autism (ASC) on a one-to-one basis. Working closely with the class teacher and SEND team to deliver tailored support throughout the school day. The child can sometimes find school life overwhelming and frustrating, so the school is looking for someone who is patient, kind, calm and understanding, with the ability to build a trusting relationship and help the pupil feel safe, supported and engaged in learning. The role is initially until Christmas, with a chance of the role continuing for the rest if the academic year. Working hours: 8:15am - 3:45pm, Monday to Friday. Daily rate: £95-£100, depending on experience. The Ideal Candidate To be successful in this role, you will: Have previous experience supporting children with SEND, particularly Autism (ASC), in a primary school. Be patient, with a calm approach to supporting children who may become frustrated at school.
