Freelance Site Engineer Role - Outside IR35 - Gloucestershire Your new company You will be working for a recognised multidisciplinary Tier One Contractor in the Civil Engineering industry who offers a wide range of services including infrastructure and highways projects. This contractor is known for its commitment to health and safety, sustainability and customer satisfaction and, due to recent project wins, they are looking for a Site Engineer to join them on a long-term freelance basis.Your new role You will report into the Site Agent, and you will be responsible for setting out various aspects of the work using GPS and Total Station, ensuring effective recording of site works and delays using site diaries, liaising with the Site Agent to ensure adherence of safe methods of work along with setting up site with the Agent. In addition to this, you will work collaboratively with subcontractors to ensure preparation of ITP''S, RAMS and TBS.What you''ll need to succeed In order to succeed, you will have experience working as a Site Engineer on a Highways/Public Realm scheme and be able to understand/interpret contracts, technical drawings and general construction practices.
