The SEND secondary school boasts fantastic facilities and offers opportunities both inside and outside of lessons to promote student engagement, helping their young people to flourish both academically and personally.

The Head Teacher is looking to take on a driven SEND Teacher, on a long term basis for the full academic year. This will potentially lead to a permanent position for the right General Cover SEND Teacher. The successful General Cover SEND Teacher will be working across both Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, including exam preparation for GCSE’s. The role will be paramount in helping students achieve excellent results, whilst following and implementing the schemes of learning.

The successful General Cover SEND Teacher will have:

-        QTS with subject specialism (ECT’s are welcome to apply)

-        Experience teaching to Key Stage 4 / KS4

-        Excellent classroom management

-        Experience teaching across the National Curriculum

-        Experience delivering personalised curriculums in line with EHCPs

-        Experience teaching secondary aged pupils with autism and learning needs
