You will also be undertaking diagnostics, fault finding and rectification. There is also installation, and commissioning works to be carried out. Duties and Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, filter replacements, etc.)Conduct scheduled inspections to identify wear and tear or potential issuesTest generator performance and carry out load bank testsMaintain accurate service recordDiagnose mechanical or electrical faults in generatorsRepair or replace faulty components such as alternators, batteries, or control panelsSet up and install new generator systems (portable or fixed)Connect generators to power systems or buildings safelyExplain technical issues and solutions to clients in simple termsProvide usage recommendations and operational training Skills and Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 Minimum in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.Multiple years of Generator service/ installation/ commissioning experienceS
