This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the ongoing safety and structural integrity of a diverse property portfolio, including high-rise residential buildings, housing stock, operational properties and regeneration projects. About the Role Reporting into the Head of Asset Management / Building Safety, you will provide specialist structural engineering expertise across the council''s property portfolio. You will lead on structural inspections, provide technical advice on defects and remedial works, and support the council in meeting its obligations under current building safety legislation. The successful candidate will work closely with building surveyors, building safety professionals, project managers and external consultants to identify and manage structural risks and ensure safe, compliant buildings for residents and stakeholders.
