Yorkshire Laser and Fabrications are looking for an experienced Part Time Accounts Assistant to support our finance function and ensure smooth day to day accounting processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast paced, hands on environment and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.You will support the finance team with core accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records and contribute to efficient financial operations.You will be based at our modern West Yorkshire facility and enjoy flexible work arrangements.Part time, 3 days per week (flexible). Potential for full time working in the future.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDaily bookkeeping, including data entry and ledger maintenanceProcessing purchase and sales invoicesBank reconciliations and petty cash managementSupporting month end and year end processesHandling internal and external finance queriesEnsuring compliance with company policies and financial regulationsAssisting with ad hoc finance projects as required Experience/ KnowledgePrevious experience in an accounting or finance role, ideally within manufacturingStrong understanding of basic accounting principlesProficiency with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) and MS ExcelExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong organisational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team
