This position is remotely based but requires daily travel to their warehouses so a home-base around Derby would provide perfect access. About the Role: As an integral member of our client''s logistics team, you will collaborate closely with all departments to optimise and drive service and operational excellence in partnership with third-party logistics providers. The role demands proactive involvement in a range of activities aimed at ensuring seamless logistics operations. Key Responsibilities: Performance Analysis: Evaluate 3PL performance metrics and implement root cause analyses and action plans to enhance daily, weekly, and monthly performance. Resource Management: Ensure operational resources align with business forecasts and manage day-to-day logistics operations to meet timely delivery goals. Reporting and Compliance: Issue timely 3PL service reports, audit KPI performances, and ensure compliance with SOPs. Cost Efficiency: Develop and deliver cost reduction initiatives, validate and reconcile 3PL invoices, and enhance inventory accuracy.
