This opportunity, is a Full Time Permanent position offering a salary of up to £45K DOE and the working hours will be Monday - Thursday and 7.30 - Midday on Friday.You will also receive benefits such as onsite parking, holiday allowance starting from 25 days.As an Embedded Software Engineer your Key Responsibilities are:Design and implement real-time embedded software for motor control applicationsDevelop firmware for Microchip PIC microcontrollers (bare-metal and RTOS-based systems)Optimise code for performance, memory efficiency, and long-term maintainabilityDesign and maintain embedded graphical user interface (GUI) solutions for motor control systemsInterface with low-level hardware peripherals (SPI, I2C, UART, USB)Implement and maintain communication protocols (Modbus, Modbus TCP, Ethernet/IP, Profibus DP)Support hardware development activities, including electronic circuit design and power electronics integrationContribute to the development of PC-based configuration and remote-control toolsTo be successful you will need:Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experiencePrevious experience in PCB buildingStrong experience in real-time embedded C developmentProven experience programming Microchip PIC microcontrollersSolid understanding of low-level hardware/software interactionExperience working within
