Job Title: Mental Health Support Worker Location: Dinnington Pay rate: 105 Per Day Start Date: Immediate Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time Support young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs by providing consistent care, guidance, and encouragement in a structured school environment!GSL Education are searching for a compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join a setting in Dinnington. The Mental Health Support Worker will work closely with students who require additional emotional support, helping them to manage their wellbeing and engage positively in education.Main Duties: Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with mental health needs.Build trusting relationships that promote emotional stability and confidence.Support students in managing anxiety, behaviour, and emotional regulation.Work alongside teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to implement support plans.Encourage positive coping strategies and engagement in learning.Maintain safeguarding standards and contribute to a safe environment. Requirements of Mental Health Support Worker: Experience working with young people with SEMH or mental health needs.Strong communication, empathy, and relationship-building skills.Calm, patient, and resilient approach.Ability to manage challenging situations professionally.Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
