Our client is a long-established, multidisciplinary construction and refurbishment contractor delivering high-quality projects across the commercial, hospitality, healthcare, and public sectors. My client are looking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor on an ongoing freelance basis to work out of their office in Sititngbourne on a refurbishment framework for a major bank. Project Values £150k - £1.5m with multiple concurrent projects across Kent. Candidates will ideally have experience in fast track refurbishment projects and a good understanding of cost management. The Role Prepare and manage project cost estimates, budgets, and valuations. Measure works and produce accurate bills of quantities. Review and negotiate subcontractor quotations and contracts. Monitor project costs against budgets, identifying and reporting variances. Prepare interim valuations, payment applications, and final accounts. Support project teams with commercial advice throughout each phase. Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and industry standards. Rate £280 - £300pd
