Role DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic

Head of Department for GCSE English and Maths

to lead, inspire and coordinate our curriculum, ensuring outstanding outcomes for learners.

The successful candidate will bring proven experience of strategically leading English and Maths provision, with the ability to drive excellence in teaching, learning and assessment. You will be confident in managing timetabling, exam preparation, staff management/people development, and the effective delivery of GCSE structure and content.

We are looking for someone who is:

Skilled in curriculum development and quality assurance.

Knowledgeable in a wide range of teaching, learning and assessment strategies.

Passionate about Further Education and its power to transform lives and communities.

An inspiring leader, able to support and motivate staff to deliver exceptional results.
