You will be working across projects for clients including the Ministry of Defence (MOD) and Department for Education (DfE), providing exposure to secure, technically interesting and varied schemes. Your new role: As Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for a portfolio of construction projects typically ranging from £150,000 to £5m, with the opportunity to become involved in larger schemes as your experience develops. Working across MOD, Department for Education and other public-sector projects, you will manage projects from pre-construction through to final account. Your responsibilities will include subcontractor procurement and management, valuations, cost reporting, forecasting, variations, change control, contract administration and final accounts. You will work closely with operational teams, clients and the supply chain to ensure projects are delivered commercially and contractually effectively.
