Key ResponsibilitiesReview new and existing reinsurance arrangements and administer contracts on FSRIEnsure reinsurance premium payments are made in line with contractual termsManage recoveries collection including submission of collection notes to brokers/reinsurersLiaise with underwriters, claims, and actuarial teams on potential and actual recoveriesEnsure all bordereaux are issued and settled within contractual termsReport reinsurance movements correctly on a quarterly basis aligned to contractual termsMonitor reinsurance bad debt and maintain data quality across systemsEnsure correct data transfer between underwriting, reinsurance, and financial systemsRequirementsPrior experience in insurance working in reinsurance accounting either from practice or industryIdeally a qualified accountant Understanding of different types of reinsurance structures Knowledge of reinsurance working practices and terminologyGood knowledge of ExcelStrong interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and as part of a teamPride in delivery of work with attention to detailKnowledge of FSRI, experience with CODA or similar accoun
