Quality Inspector Location: Bitton, Bristol Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Hours: Night Shift 40% Shift Premium Sunday to Thursday: 10:00pm 6:00am or Double Day Shift 25% Shift Premium Morning Shift Monday to Thursday: 6:00am 2:00pm Friday: 6:00am 11:00am Afternoon Shift Monday to Thursday: 2:00pm 10:00pm Friday: 11:00am 4:00pm The Opportunity An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a well-established precision engineering manufacturer supplying high-quality aerospace components. Working within the Production team, you will be responsible for ensuring components meet customer, regulatory and internal quality requirements. The role would suit a self-motivated individual who can manage their own workload while supporting the machining team. Key Responsibilities Inspect aerospace components to tight tolerances using appropriate measurement equipment Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and 3D models Programme and operate Aberlink CNC CMMs Use optical measurement equipment including Keyence and shaft scanning systems Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspection Complete inspection documentation, Process Control Plans, PPAP and FAIR reports Raise NCRs and support root cause, corrective and preventative actions Conduct MSA studies and contribute to inspection process improvements Manage calibration of measurement equipment Ensure non-conforming product does not reach the customer Maintain high ..... full job details .....
