Job Overview

This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the lettings office, including managing administrative processes, supervising office workflows, and ensuring efficient use of office equipment and systems. The Lettings Office Manager coordinates property letting activities, supports the lettings team with documentation and compliance, and helps maintain accurate records for landlords and tenants. The role also involves delivering high-quality customer service to clients and applicants, responding to enquiries, scheduling appointments, and supporting smooth handovers of tenancies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate property enquiries, viewings, applications and tenancy administration, keeping each stage organised and progressing.
• Communicate clearly with applicants, tenants, landlords and colleagues, responding to queries and sharing relevant updates.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation, and organise tasks and follow-ups to support efficient lettings operations.
• Driving new business and growing the lettings portfolio.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords and investors.
• Conducting market appraisals and winning new instructions.
• Leading and supporting the lettings team.
• Maintaining the high standards of customer service the business is known for.
• Overseeing the smooth running of the department.
• Ensuring compliance with lettings legislation.
• Identifying opportunities for continued growth.

Skills and Qualifications

• A strong background in residential lettings.
• ARLA Qualification would be desirable.
• Excellent business development skills.
• Experience winning instructions and developing landlord relationships.
• A good understanding of lettings legislation.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• The confidence and personality to lead a team and represent a respected business.
