Position: Mathematics Teacher (Full-Time, Long-Term Contract)
Location: Maidstone, Kent

The school is now seeking a passionate and experienced Mathematics Teacher to join their hardworking department on a full-time, long-term basis from ASAP until at least July 2026.

The Role
- Teach engaging and inspiring Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, ensuring all students are challenged and supported to reach their potential.
- Take full teaching responsibilities, including planning, assessment, and contributing to the wider school community.
- Work as part of a supportive and high-performing Mathematics department, sharing best practice and maintaining strong communication with colleagues.
- Use effective classroom management strategies to create a positive and purposeful learning environment.
- Foster curiosity, resilience, and confidence in Mathematics, helping students develop key problem-solving and analytical skills.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Specialism in Mathematics, with the ability to confidently teach up to Key Stage 5 preferred.
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for promoting a love of Maths.
- A dedicated and reliable teacher willing to take on full classroom responsibilities, including marking, assessment, and participation in departmental meetings.
- Excellent communication and organisation skills, with a proactive and flexible approach to teaching.
- Lives locally to Maidstone or within a commutable distance.

Requirements
- Recent teaching experience in UK secondary schools.
- Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service) or willingness to obtain one.
- Right to work in the UK.
