The Role As Assistant Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting a portfolio of clients, with responsibilities including: Support year-end accounts and ensuring client records are accurate and complete. Assisting with the preparation of management accounts. Processing sales and purchase invoices, receipts, payments and journals. Completing bank, credit card and control account reconciliations. Preparing and submitting VAT returns accurately and on time. Maintaining client records using cloud-based accounting software. Liaising directly with clients to resolve bookkeeping queries and obtain financial information. Processing payroll and pension submissions (desirable but not essential).
