The Somerset Youth Alliance is a group of organisations working together for the benefit of young people in Somerset. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of youth work in Somerset and make a positive impact on young people s lives. We are working to grow the infrastructure and profile of youth work within the local area and beyond, and support the workforce with training, guidance and opportunities to collaborate. Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, this exciting role will support the development of a programme of work, shaped by the Alliance and young people, as well as events and outreach activities to share knowledge and best practice. The post-holder will engage directly with youth work delivery organisations across Somerset, encouraging them to join the Somerset Youth Alliance. They will also work with the Alliance Steering Group to oversee successful delivery of the project, including impact measurement and budget management, supporting the Alliance to achieve its priorities. We are seeking creative, lateral thinkers with a passion for supporting young people. You will have demonstrable experience of successful partnership working, and significant experience supporting the development of voluntary sector organisations.
